June 6th 1944, On a cold French shore, codenamed SWORD BEACH, The British 3rd Infantry, eager to avenge it’s defeat as part of the British Expeditionary Force, wades ashore to begin the liberation of Hitler’s Fortress Europe.
Preceding them are the British Talents, forging a beachhead, ensuring freedom of movement for the allied forces, and ensuring German Reinforcements cannot be moved to where they can do the most damage. You have been attached to D Coy, 6th Airborne, 2nd Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, your mission, capture and hold the Bridges over the Caen Canal and the Orne River, to allow resupply of the 6th Airborne.
